Cechini Achieves Five Personal Best Times
Bermudian swimmer Thomas Cechini competed at the Speedo Winter Junior Championship East in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Representing Mercersburg Academy, Cechini enjoyed a stellar meet, setting personal best times in all five events he contested:
- Men’s 200 yards freestyle: Finished 48th with a personal best time of 1:39.63.
- Men’s 500 yards freestyle: Placed 72nd in the preliminaries with a personal best time of 4:33.73.
- Men’s 50 yard butterfly time trial: Clocked a personal best time of 23.28.
- Men’s 100 yard butterfly time trial: Achieved a personal best time of 50.35.
- Men’s 200 yard butterfly time trial: Finished with a personal best time of 1:52.30.
