Waldron Continues Racing At Hawthorne
Bermudian harness pony racing driver Kiwon Waldron continued his impressive debut season at Hawthorne Race Course with two photo finishes on Saturday night.
Waldron, who earned his first win at the track on Friday, piloted Hector Herrera in the third race, a pace class event. The race resulted in a blanket finish for second, third, and fourth place, with Waldron ultimately securing third place with a time of 1:54 flat. The horses finishing in second and fourth also recorded the same time.
In the seventh race, another pace class event, Waldron drove Always B A Lady. The race once again went down to the wire, with the judges needing a photo finish to determine the finishing order for second through fifth place. Waldron finished fifth with a time of 1:58&3, the same time as four other drivers.
