Video: Blake Montgomery Scores For Knights
Blake Montgomery scored for the London Knights in their recent 6-1 win at home to the Sarnia Sting in the Ontario Hockey League [OHL].
Montgomery, who scored ten goals in his past 12 games, also had two assists.
“Missing guys hurts, but we have such a deep roster, we can still play to our full capabilities,” Montgomery told the London Free Press. “We can beat anyone on any night.
“You get used to [moving around lines], but you can play well with anyone we’ve got on this team.”
The forward, who was drafted by National Hockey League [NHL] team the Ottawa Senators in June, joined the Knights on an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
He has spent the past two seasons with the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.
