Sar Smith Invited To CFU Referee Course
Young referee Sar Smith has been rewarded for his impressive displays by being invited to the Caribbean Football Union’s [CFU] Next Generation Referee Course next year.
Smith picked up the Referee of the Year award in the Under-13 Boys’ Division and was a finalist in the Under-18 Boys’ Division at the Appleby Youth Awards in April.
He is the third Bermudian official to be invited to the Next Generation Referee Course.
“Huge congrats to Sar Smith on being invited to the Caribbean Football Union’s 2025 Next Generation Referee Course in Barbados,” the Bermuda Football Association said.
“BFA president Mark Wade presented him with a Polar watch to aid in his fitness journey.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Sar to develop and potentially become a Fifa-listed referee.”
