Zeiko Lewis’ Omaha Future Up In The Air
Zeiko Lewis’s future at Union Omaha is up in the air after he was not named in their initial group of returning players for their upcoming United Soccer League [USL] League One campaign.
The Bermuda national team winger helped Omaha win the USL League One play-off final last season after they defeated Spokane Velocity 3-0 at Werner Park in Nebraska last month.
“We are excited to have such a tremendous core group returning as we work to defend our 2024 League One Play-off and Players’ Shield titles,” Martie Cordaro, the club president, said.
“We strive to win, both on and off the pitch, and this group of soccer players have been leaders in both areas.”
More returning players are expected to be announced in the near future.
Lewis joined Omaha in March following spells at USL sides New York Red Bulls II, Charleston Battery and Sacramento Republic, as well as FH and HK in Iceland.
