Remember When: Reggie Lambe Joins Toronto
It has been exactly 13 years since Reggie Lambe joined Major League Soccer [MLS] side Toronto FC on December 7, 2011.
Lambe, who started his professional career at English second-tier side Ipswich Town, made 54 appearances for Toronto from 2012-13, scoring five goals.
“We are very happy to add a young and talented player like Reggie Lambe,” Aron Winter, the Toronto head coach and technical director, said.
“Reggie is a dangerous winger with a great amount of speed and ability. He will be an important player and will fit in well with our club.”
The 33-year-old, the island’s most-capped player, has enjoyed spells at professional clubs such as Mansfield Town, Cambridge United and Carlisle United in England, and Nykopings in Sweden.
He currently plays for English non-league side Needham Market.
