Five Bermudians – Za’Khari Parsons, Derrick Grant, Cairbre Ingemann, Sheun Simmons, and Maurice Hansey – successfully completed a five-week Introduction to Basic Appliance Repair Course as well as overseas training.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Department of Workforce Development proudly announces that five outstanding Bermudians successfully completed its five-week Introduction to Basic Appliance Repair Course and subsequent overseas training at Fred’s Appliance Academy.

“The initiative, launched in October 2024, began with eight selected participants receiving foundational training in safety protocols, tool identification, and basic appliance repair techniques. The introductory course was a prerequisite for an advanced three-week hands-on training programme at Fred’s Appliance Academy in Madison, Ohio.
