Players Continue In Canadian Squash Open
Bermudian squash players Owen Rosorea and Mason Smith competed at the 2024 Forthlane Partners Canadian Junior Squash Open.
Rosorea faced Sam Horsky in the boys’ under-17 singles consolation round. Horsky claimed the first set 11-5, but Rosorea responded with an 11-4 win in the second to level the match. The third set was a nail-biter, with Horsky edging it 13-11 to regain the lead. He then closed out the match with an 11-9 victory in the fourth.
Smith defeated Luke Kirby in the boys’ under-13 singles consolation 1st round. After dropping the first set 12-10, Smith rallied to win the next three 11-4, 11-8, 11-9.
