Waldron Earns First Victory At Hawthorne
Bermudian harness pony racing driver Kiwon Waldron enjoyed a successful night at Hawthorne Race Course in Chicago, securing his first win at the track.
Waldron — who recently made his debut at the Illinois venue — competed in two races. His first outing saw him pilot Straight Denim in Race 3, a Pace Class event. The pair delivered a solid performance, finishing third with a time of 1:57&2.
However, it was in Race 7 that Waldron truly shone. Taking the reins of Rockin The Jackpot, he guided the pacer to victory in a time of 1:54 flat.
