The second spring senior bowling league at Warwick Lanes delivered a pair of shock results, with two top teams falling to unexpected defeats.
League leaders Drifters were the biggest casualty, succumbing to a 3-1 loss against second-placed New Comers, and another upset saw fifth-placed Blue Angels comprehensively beaten 4-0 by the Pinsplitters, third-placed Star Lites cruised to a comfortable 4-0 victory over seventh-placed Islanders and fourth-placed Last Pin also enjoyed a successful week, defeating eighth-placed Just Kickin by the same 4-0 scoreline.
