Commemorative Service For Midshipman Dale
The Annual Commemorative Service for Midshipman Richard Sutherland Dale will take place on February 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in King’s Square, St. George’s.
A spokesperson said, “The Annual Commemorative Service of the death of Midshipman Richard Sutherland Dale, USN, January 5th, 1795 – February 22nd, 1815, takes place in King’s Square, St. George’s on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., followed by the laying of wreaths at his grave in St. Peter’s Church graveyard.
“Hosted by The Friends of St Peter’s Church, the service is a reminder of the friendship between Great Britain and the United States, and will be attended by the Governor of Bermuda, the Mayor of St George and the Acting US Consul General.”
