Pitcher & Jones Retain Maybury-Morris Cup
The Ocean View and Port Royal Golf Professionals renewed their rivalry with the reinstatement of the Maybury-Morris Cup at Port Royal.
The competition, a Best-Ball match play format, honours the memory of the late Greg Maybury and the late Brian Morris, both of whom made significant contributions to the two government golf courses.
The Ocean View pairing of OJ Pitcher and Nick Jones successfully defended their title, defeating Steven Lambert Jr and Andrew Trott-Francis of Port Royal 3 & 2.
Organizers expressed their gratitude to the management team for allowing the match to be reinstated, recognizing the lasting legacies of Maybury and Morris at both courses.
