Salvation Army Territorial Leaders To Visit
The Salvation Army in Bermuda will welcome territorial leaders Commissioners Lee and Debbie Graves from February 28 to March 5, 2025, to support local outreach and social services.
A spokesperson said, “The Salvation Army in Bermuda is excited to welcome its territorial leader’s, Commissioners Lee and Debbie Graves, for their first official visit to the Island from February 28 to March 5, 2025. As senior leader of The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory, Commissioner Graves oversees the operations and mission of the territory, while also providing policy direction and vision.
“Marking a significant occasion for the organization, and as leaders with a wealth of experience, the Graves bring global insight into social services ministries and community outreach, which will help to strengthen the Army’s impact in Bermuda.
“Supported by Lieut.-Colonels John and Brenda Murray, Secretary for Communications and Director of International Development, respectively, the team will tour Salvation Army facilities in Bermuda, reaffirming their commitment to supporting the organization’s vital work in assisting the Island’s most vulnerable residents.”

The spokesperson said, “The delegation will visit locations such as the emergency shelter and transitional housing program on Monday, March 3, and meal programs and food banks on Tuesday, March 4, to witness firsthand the services provided by The Salvation Army and engage with staff, volunteers and those benefitting from those services.
“During the tour, Salvation Army representatives in Bermuda will share updates on programs and future initiatives aimed at strengthening community support. The visit also serves as an opportunity to discuss challenges and ways to enhance resources and partnerships to help meet growing needs.”
