Khano Smith’s Rhode Island Draw With Phoenix
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island drew 2-2 away to Phoenix Rising in the United Soccer League [USL] Championship yesterday [March 22].
Smith, the former Bermuda captain, made history in his first year as a head coach, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season.
They lost their opening game of this campaign 2-0 away to Charleston Battery last weekend.
Rhode Island are away to Loudoun United on Saturday [March 29].
