2025 Convex End-To-End Set For May 3
The 38th annual Convex End-to-End returns on May 3, inviting participants to walk, cycle, or volunteer while supporting five local charities.
A spokesperson said, “One of Bermuda’s biggest and best-loved charity events is back for its 38th year! The 2025 Convex End-to-End will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, and everyone’s invited to walk, cycle, volunteer or cheer. Interested participants can sign up at bermudaendtoend.bm or register to be a volunteer Road Marshal at bermudaendtoend.bm/volunteer.
“This year’s event supports five local charities: Age Concern [ACB Hardship Programme], Bermuda Audubon Society [Conservation Management Plan for High Point], Bermuda Red Cross [Equipment Rental Revitalisation Programme], the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Bermuda and The Reading Clinic [Core Reading Programme].”
Christen Styche, End-to-End Board Chair said, “All pledges raised by our participants are distributed amongst this year’s charities. Individual fundraising efforts go a long way to supporting these vital charitable programmes. Anyone who fundraises also has the chance to win incredible prizes like an overnight stay at Hamilton Princess, round-trip tickets on BermudAir, a Tissot sports watch from Astwood Dickinson, an Exhale Spa massage, dinner at Fourways, lunch for two at Crown & Anchor or a Vineyard Vines gift card.”
The spokesperson said, “The school team that raises the most money will be awarded the Deloitte Top School Prize of $15,000. This year Butterfield has also sponsored 50 students to participate from Dellwood, Sandy’s and Whitney Institute.
“There’s a route for everyone, from the full 24.1-mile End-to-End to the 14-mile Middle-to-End, and the 3-mile Fun Walk & Cycle, ideal for families. For the more adventurous, the End-to-End-to-End is back: a 48.2-mile cycling challenge that covers the island twice.”
Ms Styche added, “We have several school and corporate teams rallying together this year, which is great to see. We’ve also got rowers from the Bermuda Rowing Association, an all-female crew from the Bermuda Pilot Gig Rowers, and returning Opti sailors joining the action. No matter your route, we’ll all finish together in Dockyard where the Town Crier, Power Girl, and our amazing volunteers will be waiting to celebrate with you. We’re also excited to announce the new End Zone, full of vendors and fun activities to keep you refreshed and entertained when you finish the event.”
The spokesperson said, “All route maps, start times, transport details, and water stop information can be found in the End-to-End Event Programme available on bermudaendtoend.bm.
“The Convex End-to-End Event Office will be located in the Sunglass and Watch Shop on 15 Reid Street. Participants can collect their event number, T-shirt and goodie bag from Monday, April 28 – Friday, May 2, between 8:30am and 5:00pm. Extended hours will be available on Wednesday, April 30 from 8:30am – 6:00pm.”
