Bermuda U17 Defeated By Mexico U17
The Bermuda Under-17 women’s national team were defeated 5-0 by Mexico Under-17 women in the final round of the Concacaf Under-17 Women’s Qualifier in Toluca yesterday [March 31].
Bermuda, who have been placed in group A with Mexico, Costa Rica and Haiti, conceded in the fifteenth minute when Citlalli Reyes netted for Mexico.
They doubled their lead as Joselyn Solís slotted the ball past Bermuda’s goalkeeper, Taya Rodrigues.
After the break, Mexico made it 3-0 through Anaiya Miyazato before substitute Valeria Vázquez added a fourth in the 52nd minute.
In the tenth minute of stoppage time, Mexico added a fifth through Mia Villalpando.
