Bermuda Digital Finance Forum In May
The Bermuda Digital Finance Forum will be held from May 6 to 9 and “all Community Day ticket holders will receive $100 in digital dollars, which can be used at the event to purchase food, drinks, and merchandise as part of the ‘Vendor Village’ to experience digital finance firsthand.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Government of Bermuda is supporting the upcoming Bermuda Digital Finance Forum, taking place in Hamilton from May 6 – 9, 2025.
“Hosted by Penrose Partners, SALT, and DAIS, and in cooperation with the Government of Bermuda, the forum will bring together leading voices from across industries including digital finance, artificial intelligence, public policy, and asset management.
“The Government’s support includes providing a number of free tickets for Community Day [Day 1] of the event. The sponsorship is available on a first come, first served basis by application.
“Kicking off at Pier 6 on May 7, all Community Day ticket holders will receive $100 in digital dollars, which can be used at the event to purchase food, drinks, and merchandise as part of the ‘Vendor Village’ to experience digital finance firsthand. The goal of the Community Day is to demonstrate how digital finance can empower Bermudians and small businesses with cheaper and faster payment options.
“The Government of Bermuda, conference organisers, and participating sponsors are committed to making digital finance inclusive for all and ensuring that Bermudians are equipped to benefit from this growing sector.”
Premier David Burt said, “We want Bermudians to be part of this growing industry. The Ministry of Finance aims to make digital finance more accessible, and these sponsored tickets will help encourage Bermudians to get involved. By giving all attendees digital dollars, the event organisers are offering a chance for Bermudians to experience what the future of money looks like.”
The spokesperson said, “Recognising that digital finance is for everyone, the Digital Finance Forum Community Day is open to residents interested in learning about or exploring a career in the digital finance sector. A technical background is not required. Applicants should, however, possess a willingness to learn, explore new career opportunities, and actively engage with leaders in Bermuda’s expanding digital asset sector.
“The Government is encouraging all interested Bermudians to apply for the opportunity to attend this event.
“How to apply:
- 1. Like and reshare the official Government of Bermuda social media post announcing the ticket opportunity on Facebook and Instagram
- 2. Visit lu.ma/digitalfinanceforum and select “Day 1 Only”
- 3. Enter your details, plus voucher code “MONEY”
“Select applicants will be confirmed via email. For more information about the Digital Finance Forum, visit digitalfinanceforum.com.”

Burtcoin comes to Bermuda!
“Premier David Burt said, “… By giving all attendees digital dollars, the event organisers are offering a chance for Bermudians to experience what the future of money looks like.””
There is nothing I can say to that statement that would not be derogatory.
Look everyone it’s obaUBP favorite troll still living under a bridge with a party that will never win.
More like someone who’s retired and has no social life outside of hating everything PLP.
“…all Community Day ticket holders will receive $100 in digital dollars,”
In other words they’ll receive nothing … LOL
