Carifta Team Returning This Evening
Bermuda’s 2025 Carifta Team is set to return home this evening [April 23] on American Airlines Flight 308 from Miami.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport wishes to inform the public that Bermuda’s 2025 Carifta Team will be arriving home this evening on American Airlines Flight 308 from Miami.
“The flight will arrive at LF Wade International Airport at approximately 9:25 p.m.
“Among the returning athletes is silver medallist Tatiana Sousa, who distinguished Bermuda at the regional competition. Her success, along with the efforts of the entire team, has brought pride to the Island.
“Members of the public are encouraged to come out and join in welcoming home our athletes. This is an opportunity to show support and appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
“Let us fill the airport with Bermuda pride as we celebrate their return.
“The Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport, the Hon. Owen Darrell, JP, MP, will be present to officially greet the team on their arrival.”
