Smash Invitational: Future Stars & Draft Night
The Bermuda Smash Invitational 2025, featuring international and local cricket stars, is set to take place from June 1st to 8th, with a draft night on May 2nd and the Athene Future Stars Match set to highlight young local talent.
A spokesperson said, “The countdown is officially on for Bermuda Smash Invitational 2025. From June 1st to June 8th, international and local players will hit the field of play, ready to showcase all their cricketing skills. Already a favorite with sport lovers, this fast- paced tournament is highly anticipated and a welcome addition to Bermuda’s yearly event calendar.
“As the days quickly bowl by, tickets are steadily selling out. Anyone who intends to be there should act now and not wait until the last minute to make their purchases. Without a doubt, the excitement of 2024’s tournament has garnered increased interest from both sponsors and patrons alike, making this a must attend cricketing extravaganza.
“With 12 international stars and 44 of Bermuda’s best on display, the action gets an early start on Draft Night. On May 2nd, at 7PM in the Cedarbridge Academy Cafetorium, live team selections alongside player reveals will take place.
“This thrilling aspect of the competition will be free to anyone who wants to witness the formation of the 4 participating teams. It promises to be an unforgettable night for everyone present. Who will be chosen? Which international players will be on your favorite squad? There is only one way to find out…by being there yourself.
“The venues are ready. The players are eager, and Bermuda itself is waiting with bated breath for this upcoming battle royale. Although the contest is fierce, the Bermuda Smash Invitational team is also focusing on nurturing upcoming cricket talent on the island.
