School Cricket Festival To Begin On May 1st
The Super 8 Schools Cricket Festival — featuring athletes from Primary, Middle, and High Schools – will get underway on Thursday, May 1st, at the North Field at the National Sports Centre.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] and the Bermuda School Sports Federation [DOSR] announce the 2025 Super 8 [S8] Schools Cricket Festivals.
“The Super 8 Festivals will see student-athletes from all schools [Primary, Middle, and High School] participate in male and female divisions.
“The S8 Festival will commence on Thursday, May 1st, at the National Sports Centre [North Field] with the Senior High Schools, starting at 9:30 am.
“The participating schools are:
Girls:
- CedarBridge Academy
- Berkeley Institute
- Saltus
Boys:
- CedarBridge Academy
- Berkeley Institute
- Saltus Grammar
- MSA/Bermuda Institute
“The Primary and Middle School S8 festivals are scheduled for May 19, 20, and 21.”
