Emma Harvey Sets Two National Records
Emma Harvey set two national records on the opening day of the Ascot National Swimming Championships at the National Sports Center Pool.
Harvey established new national benchmarks in both the 50m and 100m butterfly events.
In the morning session, Harvey completed the Women’s Open 50 Butterfly in 26.70 seconds. This time surpassed her own previous national record of 26.75 seconds.
Later in the day, Harvey competed in the Women’s Open 100 Butterfly, finishing in 59.85 seconds. This result eclipsed her prior national record of 59.88 seconds.
