Extended Lane Closures & Cedar Avenue Traffic
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised the public that the previously announced single lane closure on Harrington Sound Road and North Shore Road has been extended.
A Government spokesperson said, “These traffic restrictions are now extended through to Wednesday, 28 May 2025. Lane closures are necessary to facilitate ongoing infrastructure work in the area.
“Motorists are advised to proceed cautiously when travelling through the work zone and to follow all traffic management measures implemented.
“The Ministry also reminds the public not to block or obstruct Cedar Avenue in Hamilton or place any items on the road that could impede traffic flow, as this area forms part of the official Bermuda Day race and parade route.”
