Khano Smith’s Rhode Island Draw At Home
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island drew 1-1 at home to Monterey Bay in the United Soccer League Championship on Saturday [May 10].
A former Bermuda captain, Smith made history in his first year as a head coach last term, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season.
Rhode Island are away to Birmingham Legion FC on Wednesday.
Smith served as the Birmingham Legion assistant coach from 2019 to 2023.
