Khano Smith’s Rhode Island Defeated In Cup
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island were defeated 2-1 at home to the New England Revolution in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup round of 32 yesterday [May 7].
Smith is a former Revolution winger, enjoying two stints at the Major League Soccer side from 2005 to 2008 and 2010.
A former Bermuda captain, Smith made history in his first year as a head coach last term, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season.
Rhode Island are at home to Monterey Bay on Saturday.
