Police Appeal: Help Locate 68-Year-Old
[Updated] The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 68-year-old Jose Brandao Paiva.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 68-year-old Portuguese national, Jose Brandao Paiva.
“Mr. Paiva is described as being 5‘6“ in height, slim build, light complexioned and bald.
“He was last seen around 6:30am on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the area of Sun Valley Road, Warwick. It is not known what he was wearing at the time.
“Mr. Paiva is known to frequent a farm next to Greenway Landscaping, Harrington Sound Road, Hamilton Parish.
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of 68-year-old Portuguese national, Jose Brandao Paiva, is asked to call the main police number, 295-0011.”
Update 6.47pm: A police spokesperson said, “We have been informed that Mr. Paiva was seen in the areas of Odyssey Drive and Radnor Road Smiths between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM Saturday, May 3, 2025.
“There has also been a reported sighting of him driving a motorcar with the license plate number 46693 traveling west along South Road on Camera around 1:36 PM, also on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
“We are asking that residents of these areas and who have CCTV cameras to please check their devices for any recorded images of Mr. Paiva to please call 295-0011.
“We wish to thank those individuals who have already reached out to us.”
