Bermuda Archer Wins CAC Games Medal

Bermudian archers secured a bronze medal and qualified for the 2026 Central American and Caribbean [CAC] Games at the Copa Merengue in the Dominican Republic. The event, held concurrently with a CAC Games qualification tournament, saw three Bermudian archers finish in the top eight of their respective divisions.

Camerin Pickering earned a bronze medal in the Men’s Recurve Division, defeating Daniel Ragbir of Trinidad and Tobago with a score of 6-4 in the bronze medal match. This result secured Bermuda an individual spot in the Men’s Recurve Division for the 2026 CAC Games. Jaydon Roberts, also competing in the Men’s Recurve Division, placed eighth overall.

In the Ladies Recurve Division, Robin Selley finished sixth overall.

Other Bermudian archers who participated in the event included Elektra Smith, N’Drera Smith, and Robert O’Connor.
