Reggie Lambe On World Cup Qualifiers
Reggie Lambe says he feels re-energised after playing a key role in helping Bermuda reach the final round of the Concacaf World Cup qualifiers.
Lambe, the island’s most-capped player, scored Bermuda’s second goal in a crucial 2-1 away victory over Cuba in the second round, a result that secured a top two finish and progression to the next phase.
Bermuda have been drawn in group B alongside Jamaica, Curaçao, and Trinidad and Tobago.
The team will face each opponent home and away across the September, October, and November international windows.
Midfielder Lambe wrote on social media: “Hard work, pressure, setbacks; I’ve felt them all.
“But I’ve always believed in playing with a smile. This game has given me so much, and moments like this remind me why I keep going. Final round of World Cup Qualifier. Let’s get the job done.”
