Bermuda Beat Bahamas By 26 Runs
The Bermuda national cricket team claimed a 26-run win over the Bahamas in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Americas Region Final at the Maple Leaf Cricket Club in Toronto, Ontario, today [June 19].
Bermuda have now won three of their four matches at the tournament.
In a match reduced to nine overs per side because of rain, Bahamas won toss, bowling first, with Bermuda scoring 114 for six.
Delray Rawlins batted through the entire nine overs, hitting an unbeaten 68 off just 32 deliveries, including three fours and seven towering sixes.
In reply, the Bahamas were restricted to 88 for two in their nine overs.
Derrick Brangman was the top bowler, taking one wicket for 23 runs from his two overs.
