Bermuda Defeated By Cayman In T20
Bermuda’s hopes of reaching the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup suffered a blow yesterday [June 21] after losing by nine wickets to the Cayman Islands in their fifth match of the Americas Regional Final in Toronto, Ontario.
The Cayman Islands won the toss and elected to bowl, restricting Bermuda to 139 for the loss of two wickets.
Tre Manders top scored with 69 off 46 balls, including nine fours and two sixes.
In reply, Cayman reached their target with nine wickets in hand, scoring 142 for one.
Seam bowler Dominic Sabir took the wicket for Bermuda.
