Rachael Betschart Competing In WASZP Fleet
Bermudian sailor Rachael Betschart, representing the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club, stands in 39th place overall after nine races in the WASZP class at Foiling Week 2025 in Italy. The event, in its 12th edition, is the world’s largest gathering dedicated to foiling boats.
Betschart has accumulated 183 net points among a field of 110 international sailors in the WASZP fleet, which features a record 131 registered athletes. Her top individual race finish was 12th in the third race. She has recorded four finishes within the top 20.
