Pink Ferry Route Resumption Delayed
The Ministry of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport advised that the Pink Ferry Route, which services the Paget and Warwick communities, “will not resume operations on July 25, 2025, as previously scheduled.”
A Government spokesperson said, “This essential route has faced ongoing mechanical challenges due to the aging fleet. The Department of Marine and Ports is actively working to complete necessary repairs.
“Several components require custom machining, which has extended repair timelines despite accelerated efforts. The Ministry remains committed to restoring service as soon as possible, and we will keep the public informed as repair work progresses.”

Nope, but it’s beyond abysmal at this point.
Why not give us some details! The director of marine and ports was trained as an engineer. One hopes he knows what is being done…and how long it will take. This is ridiculous. Politicians spouting ‘news’ as if they have a clue about what is going on. I am beyond disgusted.
