Dash Simmons & Adrian Roach Score TKOs
Bermudian boxers Dash Simmons and Adrian Roach claimed victories at the “Run it Back” boxing event at The Shed.
Simmons defeated Ian Darby of Jamaica by technical knockout.
After four rounds of trading blows, Simmons connected with a right hand to Darby’s body, causing the Jamaican to take a knee. Referee Tony Mouchette stopped the fight after Darby rose but was unable to defend himself from Simmons’s follow-up attack.
The co-main event featured Adrian Roach in his professional debut against Canada’s Brent Coxworthy. Roach won by TKO in the first round after a series of body shots sent Coxworthy to the canvas, prompting the Canadian’s corner to stop the bout.
The event was rescheduled after being postponed two weeks prior because of inclement weather.
