Work Permit Policy Feedback Due July 4

The Ministry of Economy and Labour is reminding the public to submit their feedback on proposed Work Permit Policy amendments by Friday [July 4].

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Economy and Labour reminds the public to submit feedback on the proposed amendments to the Department of Immigration’s Work Permit Policy.

“Members of the public are encouraged to review the draft policy and share their input by visiting the Government’s online consultation portal at https://forum.gov.bm/en/projects/work-permit-policy-2025.

“The deadline for submissions is Friday, July 4, 2025.”

Minister of Economy and Labour Jason Hayward stated, “We are committed to ensuring that our immigration policies reflect the needs of Bermuda’s evolving workforce and economy. Public consultation is key to helping us strike the right balance between supporting local talent and meeting industry demands. I encourage all residents, stakeholders, and business leaders to take a few moments to review the proposed changes and share their views.”

A Government spokesperson added, “Recognising public feedback is a vital part of the policymaking process, and the Ministry thanks all stakeholders for their engagement.”
