Antonio Pierce Set For New Adviser Role
Antonio Pierce, former head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, is charting a new path beyond the NFL as he takes on the role of Chief Strategy Adviser at Athletes in Control.
After being relieved of his duties by the Raiders and choosing not to chase other coaching positions this offseason, Pierce has embraced an opportunity to support athletes off the field.
Athletes in Control is a company founded by a group of athletes, coaches, and business experts committed to helping players make smart, high-stakes career decisions.
Pierce’s connection to AIC runs deeper with the presence of Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels as a Brand Ambassador.
The two share a strong bond from their time at Arizona State University, where Daniels was the team’s quarterback and Pierce served on the coaching staff.
Pierce stepped in as the Raiders’ interim head coach midway through the 2023 season, guiding the team to a respectable 5-4 finish.
That success led to his appointment as full-time head coach for the 2024 season, a year that ultimately ended with a 4-13 record.
Before coaching, Pierce was a standout linebacker for the New York Giants, winning Super Bowl XLII in 2008.
