Sanshou Athletes Train On East Coast
Athletes from the Bermuda Sanshou Association [BSA] recently took part in a training camp in Baltimore and New York.
Krista Dyer, Kaelin Cox and Muryah Swan honed their skills at Goh’s Kung Fu in Baltimore and Two Bridges Muay Thai in New York.
Garon Wilkinson, the BSA president, said: “The weekend consisted of technical taolu training with Kevin Law and sanda training with Mark Lorenzo.
“The team also travelled to New York to attend the Warrior’s Cup Muay Thai event.
“The last training session took place at Two Bridges Muay Thai in New York with coach Scott Copenhaver.”
The BSA will have athletes in action at the Pan American Kungfu and Taijiquan Championship in Mayan Riviera, Mexico, in November.
