Pan Am Junior Games Day Four Wrap-Up
Bermudian swimmers competed on day four of the Pan American Junior Games in Asunción, Paraguay, yesterday [August 13].
In the women’s 50 metres freestyle, Marleigh Howes finished second in her heat in 27.62sec, placing 22nd overall.
Meanwhile, Jack Harvey, who won bronze in the 100 backstroke on Tuesday, won his heat in the men’s 50 freestyle in 23.25, coming twelfth overall to qualify for the B final, where he finished seventh in 23.22.
Sam Williamson also earned a spot in a B final in the men’s 400 individual medley, finishing sixth in his heat in 4:51.71, placing eleventh overall.
He finished third in the B final in 4:45.39.
