Athletes Compete In NACAC Championships
Bermudian athletes achieved multiple top-ten results at the North American, Central American and Caribbean [NACAC] Athletics Championships in the Bahamas.
In field events, Sakari Famous secured a fourth-place finish in the Women’s High Jump, clearing a height of 1.80m [5 feet, 10 3/4 inches]. Tiara Derosa finished fifth in the Women’s Discus Throw with a best effort of 48.36m [158 feet, 8 inches].
On the track, two Bermudians competed in the Men’s 1500m Run. Dage Minors placed sixth with a time of 3:47.70, while Ryan Outerbridge finished in 10th place with a time of 3:53.38.
