Khano Smith’s Rhode Island Win At Home
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island enjoyed a 1-0 win at home to second-place Charleston Battery in the United Soccer League Championship yesterday [August 30].
JJ Williams scored the winner in the 69th minute.
A former Bermuda national team captain, Smith made history in his first year as a head coach last term, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season.
Rhode Island are eighth in the Eastern Conference.
