Aeziah Divine Shines As Guest Rider
Motorcycle racer Aeziah Divine competed in round four of the FAB-Racing Minibike British Championship at the Clay Pigeon Raceway in Dorset at the weekend.
Divine, who primarily races in the R&G British Talent Cup, was invited to race for LRA Moto and test their YCF 187 motorcycle.
The teenager competed in three races, finished sixth, sixth and fourth.
“Friday was spent getting used to the bike and working out a few adjustments like stiffening the forks to avoid it bottoming out over the bumps. It felt much better for Saturday qualifying, allowing me to push harder on the entry into corners,” Divine said.
“With each race, I felt better on the bike. I was managing softer brakes than I’m used to so I couldn’t quite take it to the quick 70 boys – this time!
“Race three was a strange one with sketchy weather. I had a really good start and got up to P3 for a couple laps before a red flag came out.
“I didn’t have the best start off the line for the restart and had many moments in the race as it was sprinkling and I was losing grip. In the end, l finished P4 which l was happy with.
“All in all, it was a lot of fun being back at FAB and catching up with so many riders and families that I haven’t seen in a long time.”
