Jack Harvey Sets 50M Backstroke Record
Jack Harvey set a new national record in the Men’s 50m Backstroke while competing at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore.
Harvey, swimming in the fourth heat of the event, recorded a time of 25.55 seconds.
The performance surpassed his own previous Bermuda long course record of 25.89, which he had established at the Atlanta Classic Swim Meet.
Harvey’s time placed him 7th in his heat and 40th in the overall standings.
