Robinson & Samuels Compete In The Bahamas
Bermuda’s track and field athletes Norre Robinson and Amara Samuels delivered strong performances at the Bahamas National Open Championships.
Competing at the Bahamas National Stadium, Robinson was in impressive form in the Men’s 100m. He clocked a new personal best time of 10.50 seconds to finish third in his preliminary heat. He later finished fourth in a subsequent final with a time of 10.69 seconds.
Robinson also set a new personal record in the Men’s 200m, finishing fourth in his heat with a time of 21.44 seconds.
In the Women’s 100m, Amara Samuels finished third in her preliminary heat with a time of 12.41 seconds. She improved her time in the final, crossing the line in 12.25 seconds to secure a fourth-place finish.
