MAAC ‘No Frills’ Road Race 10K & 5K Results
Luke Hyland and Rose-Anna Hoey raced to victory in the MAAC No Frills 10K race, while Philippe Froncioni and Naomi MacGuinness claimed the top spots in the MAAC No Frills 5K.
Hyland won the 10K with a time of 41:25. Gap Majors finished second in 43:44, and Tom Neill was third with a time of 45:08.
Hoey was the female 10K champion, finishing seventh overall with a time of 45:31. The second female finisher was Laurie Orchard, and the third female finisher was Nick Greet, who crossed the line in 52:17.
In the 5K, Froncioni finished first overall with a time of 18:10. Michael Evans was second overall in 18:44. MacGuinness finished third overall and was the female champion with a time of 19:09.
Kip Malpas rounded out the male 5K podium in fourth place with a time of 20:58. Lesley-Jane Smith was the second female finisher, placing thirteenth overall in 24:26. Nicole Mitchell was the third female finisher, crossing the line in 25:55 to place sixteenth overall.
