BCHC Announces Fall Fundraising Events Lineup
Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre [BCHC] has announced its fall fundraising events, encouraging the community to unite in support of equitable, lifesaving cancer care.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre is proud to unveil its fall lineup of fundraising events, inviting the community to come together in support of equitable, lifesaving cancer care. By participating, donors and supporters play a direct role in removing the financial barriers that too often prevent individuals from accessing screening, diagnostic services, and treatment. Every dollar raised fuels the Centre’s Equal Access Fund, ensuring that when cancer strikes, no one in Bermuda is left to face it alone or delay care due to cost.
BF&M Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
“The 29th annual walk will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Barr’s Park. The event raises awareness of breast cancer and funds vital diagnostics and treatment. Participants are encouraged to wear their oldest BF&M Breast Cancer Walk shirt or any pink shirt. Registration is open online.
AXA XL Man on the Run 5K
“Scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2025, this 5K walk and run unites males across the island to raise awareness and funds for men’s cancer care. Open to adult walkers and runners, it also features the School Spirit Challenge, recognising the school with the highest participation. More details and registration are available online.
MOvember Bermuda
“Taking place throughout November 2025, MOvember Bermuda invites the public to grow a moustache or host fundraising events, from sports to social gatherings like golf or barbecues. The MOfinale event at Modern Gent will bring participants together for a fresh shave and conversations on men’s health. Fundraising pages and event info are online.”
“This season marks a special time in Bermuda, when families, friends, schools, and workplaces can connect for a shared purpose, to walk, run, and grow in support of cancer awareness,” said Debbie Titterton Narraway, Chief Marketing & Fundraising Officer, Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre “From the BF&M Breast Cancer Walk to the AXA XL Man on the Run 5K and MOvember Bermuda, each event offers a meaningful way to raise awareness, inspire conversation, and bring care, hope, and education to those who need it most.”
The spokesperson said, “The community is also encouraged to support the Equal Access Fund in their own way. By setting up a personal fundraising page on the Centre’s website, individuals can host their own events or reach out to friends and family for donations—on their own terms and in their own time. Every effort, big or small, helps ensure that no one in Bermuda has to delay or forgo cancer care due to cost.
