Boulevard Forfeits Dudley Eve Match vs Paget
The Bermuda Football Association has confirmed that Boulevard Community Club forfeited their Dudley Eve match against Paget Football Club after fielding an ineligible player.
A spokesperson said, “We advise that Boulevard Community Club fielded an ineligible player during their match on Sunday, September 6th vs Paget Football Club. At the time the player in question was not a properly registered player with Boulevard Community Club in accordance with the registration protocols of the Association.
“According to the Association’s Disciplinary Code – Article 39 under Ineligible Players, which in part states; “Any club that is found guilty of fielding an ineligible player shall be penalized according to the Schedule of Sanctions.
“In this regard, Boulevard Community Club has forfeited the match and 3-points have been awarded to Paget Football Club.
“Please be guided accordingly.”
