DaRock Elite Train With Charlton Athletic
Ten young footballers from the DaRock Elite Academy have wrapped up their tour of England with a session at the Charlton Athletic training ground.
The under-9 players were joined by Charlton scholars and were put through their paces by top goalkeeper coach Vic Bettinelli, who has previously worked with the Bermuda senior men’s national team.
“What a way to wrap up an unforgettable week!” said Danté Leverock, the Bermuda defender and founder of the DaRock Elite Academy.
“We started the day with a ride on the London Eye – a fun and scenic experience for the boys as they took in the sights of the capital.
“Afterwards, we headed straight into training at Charlton Athletic, where the session was led by Vic Bettinelli, a top coach with deep ties to Bermuda.
“The boys were also joined by current Charlton Athletic scholars, giving them a real insight into the standard, intensity, and professionalism required to reach the next level.
“A huge thank you to Vic and Charlton Athletic for hosting us.
“This tour has been full of growth, memories, and motivation – and we’re already looking forward to what’s next. See you in 2026.”
During the tour, the academy trained at the Bolton Wanderers Academy, played a mini-tournament at the West Ham United Academy, visited Old Trafford, Anfield, and the Britannia Stadium – the homes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Stoke City, respectively, and watched Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion in action.
