Khano Smith’s Rhode Island Earn Victory
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island have moved into the Eastern Conference play-offs in the United Soccer League Championship after beating Indy Eleven 1-0 at home yesterday [September 13].
A former Bermuda national team captain, Smith made history in his first year as a head coach last term, leading Rhode Island to the Eastern Conference final in their inaugural season.
Rhode Island, who are eighth in the standings, are away to Miami FC on Friday.
