Motorcycle racer Aeziah Divine has reflected on his superb showing in the seventh round of the R&G British Talent Cup at the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands at the weekend.

Representing the British team Fibre Tec Honda – MLav Racing, the teenager qualified in eighteenth position before finishing sixteenth in race one on Saturday and twelfth in race two yesterday [September 21].

“This one went to plan!” Divine said “It was a wet and windy race but an awesome one to end the weekend with.

“I had a strong first few laps pushing hard to stay with the second group and setting a good pace from early on.

“I made quite a lot of passes on the first lap and started gaining time on the riders ahead.

“By lap three, l was in the group battling for P7! I stuck in with them for the whole rest of the race.

“I climbed six positions by lap eight, reaching P10 but dropped a couple places as the race went on.

“Another red flag came out due to rain before I could try to climb back up. The results were determined from the previous lap where I crossed the line in a solid P12.

“Really grateful to the entire Fibre Tec Hinda – Mlav Racing team for all their support. The hard work is starting to pay off with another great step forward. Couldn’t do it without you.

“As always, a big shout out to all the individuals and sponsors who keep me going on this journey.”

Round eight will be held at the Oulton Park Circuit in Cheshire on October 5.
