Aeziah Divine Reflects On Donington Races
Motorcycle racer Aeziah Divine has reflected on his performances in the eighth round of the R&G British Talent Cup at Donington Park, Leicestershire, at the weekend.
Racing for the British team Fibre Tec Honda – MLav Racing, the teenager qualified in nineteenth position before achieving finishes of sixteenth and twelfth in the first and second races on Saturday.
In race three yesterday, Divine did not finish because of a technical problem.
“Unfortunately, with just over two laps to go, my front sprocket came loose and fell off, causing my chain to come off as well and ending my race,” Divine said.
“The result doesn’t reflect the work put in – it’s just one of those unlucky things that can happen.
“It was a really disappointing end to the race as I had a strong chance of another points finish but, overall, I couldn’t be happier with the weekend.
“There are so many positives to take away from this weekend, so we keep pushing and building from here.”
Divine will return to action in round nine in Assen, the Netherlands from September 19 to 21.
