Video: Kaelin Cox Competes In Taolu In Brazil
Kaelin Cox finished 26th in the openhand [Nanquan] in Taolu at the World Wushu Championships in Brasilia, Brazil.
He was awarded a score of 8.753.
Cox told Bernews: “It went fairly OK – I know I can do better.
“I know now what I need to work on going into my next performances, which is the southern broadsword [Nandao] tomorrow and the southern staff [Nangun] on Saturday.”
Also competing at the championships are Krista Dyer and Ryah Symonds in Sanda [Chinese kickboxing].
Bermuda Sanshou Association president Garon Wilkinson and coaches Dwayne Cox, Chaquita Simmons, Adriano Lourenco da Silva have travelled with the team.
