Bermudian athlete Dage Minors is set to be inducted into the Franklin Pierce University Athletics Hall of Fame in recognition of his record-breaking career and international success.
Minors, and the other inductees, will be celebrated for their historic contributions to Franklin Pierce Athletics at an induction ceremony on Friday, November 7.
In making the announcement, the university said, “A record-setting runner and one of the most accomplished student-athletes in Franklin Pierce history, Dage Minors competed for the Ravens from 2013–18 before returning as an assistant coach [2018-23].
“A six-time All-American and nine-time NCAA Championship qualifier, Minors is the only Raven to win both the NCAA East Region Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year awards in the same season, a distinction achieved by just four male athletes nationally.
“The 21-time Northeast 10 Champion and three-time USTFCCCA East Region Track Athlete of the Year set seven program records across the middle distances and relays. He was named Franklin Pierce’s Walter Peterson Male Student-Athlete of the Year in 2016–17.
“On the international stage, Minors has represented Bermuda at the Pan-American Games [6th place, 800m], the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and the World University Games. He earned a bronze medal at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games and is Bermuda’s national record holder in the indoor 1000m and outdoor mile [sub-4:00].”

And deserving of this. Congratulations Mr Minors
